Long term, chronic pain and disability affects the individual in many different ways . Just before Christmas a patient came to see me and presented with a knee injury but further questions showed that 25yrs previously they had been involved in a serious RTC (Road Traffic Collision ) . Injuries sustained namely on impact loss of sensory and motor nerves in my patient’s right leg. Pathology presentations with proprioception (awareness of body position and movement of the body ).

Having had nerve conduction tests ,no nerve stimulation /activation at all was the clinical outcome all those years ago.
